In most adverts in the 1950s woman are shown to only be housewives and that there only purpose was to clean cook and be mothers.

It is like in your face and it pops out so the viewers can see what the product is

Using mise en scene i can tell by the woman's clothing she is dressed all modestly and covered up and is wearing makeup at home while she s cleaning as shown in the advert this shows that woman were meant to look nice and dress modestly she also has towels on her shoulders which suggests that she is really hard working

The picture of the product is shown so that customers who want to buy it know what it looks like because use during those times there was no online shopping so people had to know what the product looked like so they could buy it and so that when woman went shopping they should know what it looks like which suggests that the woman were meant to do the shopping and that the product is made for woman

The use of blue and red and white are bright colours so they may have used them to attract people and so that their product stands out and they are very modern colours used to represent during the 1950s

The use of the persuasive language is used to pull customers in to how they will be satisfied with the product .for example they use lines like "millions of woman" this shows that everyone is using the product and u should to The bold text stands out to attract people.
