Extension task 1

Why was the casting of Ncuti Gatwa a significant moment in the history of Doctor Who?  Ncuti Gatwa's casting is significant because he's the first Black actor to play the Doctor, marking a big step for diversity in the show. What aspects of this scene do you think an audience might enjoy? List at least three things and explain why the audience would enjoy each aspect.  They might enjoy the way the doctor snaps his fingers to turn on the light or how it’s so interesting and just pulls u in  How is this scene constructed to tell the audience the history of Doctor Who? Think about the script, camerawork and acting. She asks for his name and but he  doesn’t have a name because of his adopted family so he says doctor  What can you spot in Doctor Who that you will find in most television dramas? You'll usually find a clear protagonist, character development, and plot twists in Doctor Who
